A few pieces for a recent group show that opened last night. Felt it was a little rushed and the ideas weren't anything new I'd done but they turned out alright.

I'm starting to get a nice collection of old postcards....These ones came from an antique store in Bangalow NSW

Over 200 showed up for the opening night to my second solo show in Sydney. Some good funds were raised for Multiple Sclerosis Australia and the drinks and music flowed till there was no more. Special thanks to Ed & Mark from China Heights,Luke Aloyisus Gallen & Crew for an awesome set, Trent Whitehead, Beastman & Shaun Freeman for helping paint waves till 2:30am Friday morning and all the people for turning up.

Rad loggin waves to be had at Bistro Point Victoria this weekend. Swell and variety everywhere. Photos Heywood

This would have have to be the most iconic piece of surf related art from the Central Coast of NSW "The NIRVANA SURFBOARD FACTORY Wall". As a kid in the 80's, I remember going past the factory with my dad in the car and being blown away by the impact, detail, content and colour of this work. Unfortunately, this has been painted over for whatever reason but the memory lives on. Check out the Nirvana website http://www.nirvanasurfboards.com/ and go to the history section for a collection of memorable photos from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Bill Cillia is a legend on the coast who shaped for guys like Ross Clarke Jones, Sanga, Shane Powell, Glen Winton, Sam Chell, Dave Nielson, Adrian "Ace Buchan" and many many more.
Here are 4 pieces of myn from this great little group show currently at Corduroy in Portland Maine U.S. Check out there website on the links for info on sales etc. There's some beautiful prints and originals from artists Liz Cockrum, Keiron Lewis and Jamie Watson on sale too.
I have some new works on display this Friday at Corduroy alongside Liz Cockrum, Keiron Lewis & Jamie Watson. It's an impressive looking store and hope to get over there in the near future. All my works are well priced which includes a vintage wooden suitcase.
Never met these talented cats before but I was happy to donate one of my lino prints for this benefit night. Great artists on the bill helping out for a great cause. Speaking of supportage, I will be donating a a chunk of my earnings at my next solo exhibition I'm having in October to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. This disease took the life of my dad in 2004 so I'd be stoked if you bought anything from this night in Sydney.
Great exhibition last week and sold half before Melbourne. I know the cluster formation has been done to death before but I was kinda stumped with setting up these 12 works in a uniform setup. Besides, the random formation works well when you have 12 very different pieces.

Had a great run of swell round Easter this year. Shaun Freeman took this shot of me at an uncrowded point near Seals Rocks. Heydon Bunting (pictured standing on the reef) and myself were going wave for wave. The photos were a gift which was nicely framed with balsa!
